We are building this ecosystem in two distinct phases: the Foundation and the Expansion
We are developing the core cloud fabric—the Universal Compute Identity, the Multi-Cloud Predictive Router, and our Zero-Trust Security architecture—that allows sessions to move seamlessly between clouds without exposing data keys.
Once that foundation is solid, we move into the Hardware phase: releasing the Arx Edge Blueprint, a reference standard for modular, cloud-first endpoints designed to last years longer than traditional PCs.
From there, the direction is clear: a world where the hardware refresh cycle becomes the exception rather than the rule, and your “computer” is simply a login, accessible from anywhere, on any glass. Taken together, these phases mark a shift from device-centric IT to identity-centric computing as the default way we work.

On the security side, Arx doesn’t just patch vulnerabilities; it removes many of the obvious targets. By treating the endpoint as a largely stateless shell and keeping the cloud effectively “blind” to your data, we dramatically reduce several common attack paths:

Physical data exfiltration, a lost laptop looks very different when no meaningful session data or credentials persist on the device—a lost or stolen laptop becomes an inconvenience, not an automatic breach.

Traditional endpoint ransomware loses leverage when there is no local operating system state or persistent user files to encrypt at the edge

Cloud supply-chain and insider risks are mitigated by a keyless storage model in which the provider holds ciphertext but never possesses the keys, limiting what an attacker or insider can actually see.

Lateral movement becomes harder for a hacker when access is driven by identity and policy rather than implicit trust in a network segment or physical location.
When performance comes primarily from the data center rather than from the device, you no longer have to discard a good screen, keyboard, and chassis just because the processor has aged. Our approach extends the useful life of existing hardware and, for new deployments, pairs naturally with modular designs where batteries and other components can be swapped without replacing the entire device. Real performance upgrades happen in the cloud, where users see the benefit immediately instead of waiting for the next hardware budget cycle.
